Compliance guidance
The FIC develops various products – public compliance communications (PCCs), guidance notes and notices – which offer practical guidance on compliance with the AFIC Act. In addition, the AFIC provides direction on the application of the AFIC Act through Directives in terms of section 43A (1).
These products are issued from time to time and, prior to their final publication, comments are solicited from all stakeholders. The draft as well as final versions of guidance information is published on the AFIC website. Comments and inputs received are considered and included where possible and the documents finalised. PCCs and guidance notes are published by the AFIC in terms of its statutory function 4(c)of the AFIC Act. All guidance that has been published thus far can be found via the links below.
